Because the show traveled all over the USA for the holy grail of sandwiches, it would be limiting to just portray a simple sandwich, so we took all of teh good ingredients that make up most classic sandwiches and wrap them around a clean but friendly typeface that would work as a simple cold open and also ident or bumper.  The host’s progress was tracked using a 3D map that could be quicky animated and rendered out..
